My orchid is growing new shoots?!

Honestly didn't expect much, because of

how notoriously tough orchids are to keep ;w;

Backstory:

I initially got this for Mom when she had covid, because she was DYING to get out of her room (and I wouldn't let her of course!)

She always says orchids are pretty, so I got this pot of mini orchids for her to stare at and care for in her room.

Post-covid; I checked on the pot in her room only to find it flowerless, gathering dust and cobwebs, so I took it back ;w;

この後、他のシンガポール料理もたくさん食べたり話したりした\^w^/

Finally met my Japanese friend from uni!!

She came to Singapore because of work hehe so happyyy!! ;w;

We went to Ya Kun Kaya Toast 'cause she really wanted to try Kaya Toast in Singapore, and I really like it too so :P

We continued eating after that and chatted lots!! Was a really happy day, I felt like a uni student again ;w;

ALSO I SAW IU WHILE WE WERE WALKING my eyes were blessed thank you New Balance 🙏

Went to get some documents signed at my client's place, and she had just freshly baked some biscotti!

THEY SMELLED SO GOOD it made me want to bake again too ;w;

Noice dinner with Mom and Grandmama, then made a questionable financial decision when I laid eyes on this Philodendron Brasil in NTUC.................

Time to prune it once I get up tmr \o/

Also about time my week of self-proclaimed short escape comes to an end (if I have no self-discipline, I'll have no growth!)

There will be things out of our control no matter how hard we try, but we still tried! Just gotta make the best of it, and keep going \^^/
